Nederlands Professional and Business Liability insurance for members
Focused on quality
Members of ICF Netherlands can voluntarily insure themselves for both professional liability (BAV) and business liability (AVB). This insurance is not mandatory but a free choice for all members of ICF Netherlands.
A competitive price exclusively for members
- The premium for this professional and business liability insurance is €82.50 on an annual basis (2024 price level).
- The insurance year runs from January 1 to December 31.
- The insurance takes effect from the moment it is taken out. Regardless of the time of conclusion, the premium is € 82.50, the premium is not calculated pro-rata.
- The policy is issued once. A copy of the certificate can be requested via the insurance advisor (info@kendallmason.nl) and costs € 12.99 (including VAT) in administration costs.
- The insurance is placed with HISCOX through insurance advisor Kendall Mason. The insurance is taken out by ICF Netherlands.
- ICF Netherlands pays the insurance premium to HISCOX and collects the premium from members by direct debit.
What is insured with the Professional Liability Insurance?
Claims by third parties with a maximum insured amount for property damage, direct material damage and personal injury as shown in the policy including the costs of defence based on, among other things:
- Breach of contract (written) (whether or not it is a result of error)
- Carelessness or negligence (wrong advice or mistake)
- Legal liability resulting from business activities
- Loss or damage to documents and electronic data
- Libel or slander
- Reimbursement of own fee if client refuses to pay due to and possible claim.
